Q. Where does the Prato Botanico name come from?
A. Our name is Italian for “Botanical Meadow”. It signifies our close ties to nature and represents the stunningly beautiful Italian countryside where our products are made.

Q. Is Prato Botanico vegan?
A. All of the Prato Botanico skincare line is vegan, with the exception of our Moisturizing Lip Balm which contains responsibly-sourced beeswax. We are working on a new formulation for our lip balm which will join our other products in being vegan.

Q. Where do you ship?
A. We currently ship to the continental United States. We look forward to shipping to more locations in the future.

Q. Are your products cruelty-free?
A. Absolutely! Prato Botanico is free from animal testing at all stages of product development. Our ingredient suppliers make similar commitments, resulting in products that are guaranteed to be 100% free of animal testing.

Q. What does Natural Fragrance mean?
A. The fragrance blends that Prato Botanico uses are produced exclusively using aromatic compounds derived solely from natural botanical sources and pure essential oils (plant based). They are inherently vegan, contain no lab or synthesized ingredients, are free from phthalates and contain no crude-oil derived hydrocarbons.

Q. What is the product shelf life?
A. All Prato Botanico products have a shelf life of 12 months after opening. However, we suggest using your skincare right away to get the freshest, most efficacious products and best personal results.

Q. How do I store my products?
A. We suggest storing your products in a cool dry place, away from heat and moisture. It’s ideal to keep your products out of the shower. Refrigeration is not necessary, but if you like to keep your products cool, you can store them in the door of your fridge.

Q. Where are your products made?
A. Our products are proudly made with love and care in southern Italy. This is also where most of our key ingredients are organically grown by local farmers.

Q. Do your products contain sulfates, parabens, phthalates, etc?
A. No, we do not put any unclean ingredients into our products. Not only do we not put those kinds of ingredients into our own products, they are also not welcome in the facility where our products are manufactured.

Q. Can I use more than one discount code at checkout?
A. While our system only allows one promotional code per order, you can combine a manually added promotional code with an automatically applied discount code, such as a free item or free shipping when meeting a certain spending amount.
